BTO - The qualifying round of the 4th Golden Spoon cooking competition in the South region took place from June 7-10 with the participation of 123 chefs in the region. In which, there were 13 cooking teams from the southeastern provinces, including Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria- Vung Tau and Tay Ninh.

This year’s event themed “Homeland tastes- Journey of Vietnamese species” aims to find the country’s talented chefs and best Vietnamese dishes. The contestants brought the competition a diversity of traditional and modern dishes bearing cultural characteristics of many regions.
The semi-final round of the Southern region is expected to be held from October 25-27 while the final round is scheduled for December 6-7 in Ho Chi Minh city.
