Binh Thuan discovers and exploits its potentials for sustainable development through lens of photographers

BTO – As many as 19 excellent Press photos have been selected to be honored at the Press Photo contest, themed “Binh Thuan discovers and exploits potentials for sustainable development”. The contest was first launched and organized by Binh Thuan Newspaper to encourage photographers nationwide and worldwide to participate in contest. After one years of launching from October 27, 2019 to September 30th, 2020, the Jury has received some 145 entries including single photo, series of photos and photo reportages.

First prize: Hong Phong Solar Energy Plant, Author: Trinh Van Minh

Generally, almost all of the photo entries have followed the contest requirements and purposes on depicting the province’s potentials and achievements in green tourism development, wind power, solar power, hi-tech agricultural application, and so on.

Second Prize: Exploiting potentials for wind power development in Binh Thuan, Author: Pham Van Thanh

Second prize: Dried dragon fruit, Author: To Thanh Long.

According to the Jury’s assessment, a majority of prize-winning photos showed up the province’s colorful aspects of life, a diversified topic on green tourism, sea sports, and advanced technological energy.

Third prize: Construction of Phu Quy ship-anchoring area raced against the time for completion, Author: Le Quang Lieu

Third prize: Suoi Tien green tourism, author: Nguyen Trang Kim Cuong

Third prize: Diversified coral conservation, author: Pham Ngoc Hoang.

As results, 19 outstanding press photos won prizes and was honored at the prize-giving ceremony on Friday (November 6^th).

+ Dried dragon fruit, Author: To Thanh Long.

-3 Third prizes:

+ Tien green tourism, author: Nguyen Trang Kim Cuong

-5 Consolation prizes:

+ New energy sources, author: Tran Phuoc Thao;

+ Maintenance of renewable energy sources, Author: Vu Tien chuong;

+Vinh Tan Thermo power center, author: Dang Hong Long;

+Clean dragon fruit, Author: Tran Ke Kiet;

+Moss season in Co Thach, author: Le Huu Thiet;
