After 7 days from the first case of Covid-19 infection appeared in the province, the epidemic is now under controlled thanks to the great effort of all sectors and people, Chairman Phong assessed.

The first success of Covid-19 prevention and control have encouraged the whole politic systems and people to participate in the fight. Although there are some limitations and shortcomings in dealing with the urgent situation, we have so far gained some encouraging achievements.

In the upcoming time, Chairman Phong urges the authorities at all levels to better deploy tasks of disease prevention and control.  It should collect and do Sars-CoV-2 tests randomly at hospitals, markets, industrial parks, large-scale companies. It is necessary to monitor F2 cases who are being self-isolated at home. Chairman Phong also asked to check the facilities of quarantine checkpoints, keep on patrol and handle violating cases.
