Binh Thuan: 7,233 Covid-19-affected labourers ratified for Government’s financial support package

BTO-Under the Government’s Resolution No.42/NQ-CP on assistance for people facing difficulties due to Covid-19 pandemic (VND 62,000 billion support package), Binh Thuan’s authorities in July received dossiers from 4,232 applicants in districts/city/town.

In which, functional agancies ratified a total financial support of VND 2.76 billion to 177 people who have labour contracts suspended; 2.387dossiers of laborers who are unemployed but have not labor contracts; 3 laborers who lost their jobs but are not eligible for unemployment allowances, and 56 individual business households with taxable revenue less than VND 100 million/year.

As a whole, up to end of July, the implementation of Government’s financial support for coronavirus-hit groups in Binh Thuan has performed payment for 7,223 affected people. Currently, authorities at all levels and competent agencies are keeping receiving and dealing with dossiers for social security package of the Government in line with Resolution No.42.
