GWIS is a 1st through 12th grade private school established in Florida, the United States with a training program designed in accordance with American-standard education programme. The goal of GWIS is to help American and international secondary students make a smooth transition into the American higher education system and culture. Students graduating from GWIS can seek admission into any U.S college or university of their choosing. In Vietnam, GWIS’s academic curriculum has been deployed in Hanoi since 2012 and now its is expanded to Binh Duong, Dong Thap and Quang Ngai provinces.
Addressing the meeting, Thanh Tam highly spoke the cooperation program of GWIS in Binh Thuan. He basically agreed with the plan, and asked Department of Education and Training to thoroughly grasp the professional documents with reference to the experience of the pilot provinces and cities to choose an appropriate training program in line with regulations of Ministry of Education and Training.
Local education sector will take responsibility for assisting GWIS in organizing a seminar to introduce the school’s curriculum to representatives of Education and Training Division at district/city level, secondary schools and students’ parents in Phan Thiet city.
